Van harte gefeliciteerd met je plaatsing voor de opleiding geneeskunde in Maastricht! Er staan je een aantal prachtige jaren te wachten waarbij je hard zal moeten werken, maar waar je ook nieuwe vrienden zult maken en de tijd van je leven zal hebben. Want laat ons uit ervaring vertellen, het is fantastisch!
Om jullie goed te laten starten aan dit nieuwe avontuur, je wegwijs te maken op de universiteit en alvast je mede eerstejaars geneeskunde studenten te leren kennen, organiseert MSV Pulse, onze medische studievereniging, in samenwerking met Maastricht University de Facultaire Introductie.
Dit jaar zal de Facultaire Introductie plaatsvinden op dinsdag 29 augustus. Er is nog niet volledig duidelijk hoe deze dag er voor jullie uit zal gaan zien, maar wij gaan alles op alles zetten om een zo leuk mogelijke introductiedag voor jullie te organiseren!
Tijdens deze dag zal je in een groepje – waar je de rest van je studie, en misschien nog wel langer, contact mee zult hebben – onder begeleiding van ouderejaars studenten wegwijs worden gemaakt op de universiteit.
De universiteit verwacht dat je aanwezig bent, aangezien dit ook het moment is om je eerste onderwijs in te plannen. Mocht je om een of andere reden toch verhinderd zijn, ben je er zelf verantwoordelijk voor dat je alle informatie bemachtigt die tijdens deze dag gegeven wordt.
Hoe het exacte programma eruit gaat zien, zal later nog bekend worden gemaakt. Houd hiervoor onze sociale media in de gaten.
Om op de hoogte te blijven van de introductie is het slim om lid te worden van je lichtingsgroep op Facebook, en MSV Pulse te liken en te volgen op Instagram! De Facebookgroep wordt veel gebruikt om practica en skillslabs met elkaar te ruilen, bestanden zoals samenvattingen uit te wisselen en om op de hoogte te blijven van nieuws binnen de studie. Daarnaast wordt er nog een facebookevenement over de facultaire introductie aangemaakt, waar we jullie regelmatig updates kunnen geven. Om deze niet te missen, kun je alvast MSV Pulse volgen op Facebook!
Geniet van jullie welverdiende vakantie en we zien jullie graag op 21 augustus voor de beste, maar bovenal leukste, start van jullie studiejaar!

Congratulations on your placement for the medical program in Maastricht! There are some wonderful years ahead where you will have to work hard, but also make new friends and have the time of your life. Because let us tell you from experience, it is amazing!
To get you off to a good start on this new adventure, to familiarize yourself with the university and to get to know your fellow first-year medical students, MSV Pulse, our medical study association, is organizing the Faculty Introduction in collaboration with Maastricht University.
This year, the Faculty Introduction will take place on Tuesday, August 29th. It’s not certain how this day will look for you, but we’re doing our best to organize an as fun as possible introduction day for you!
During this day you will be introduced (digitally or physically) at the university in a group – with which you will be in contact with the rest of your studies, and perhaps even longer – under the supervision of older students.
The university expects you to be present, as this is also the time to plan your first education. If for some reason you are unable to attend, you are responsible for obtaining all information that is given during this day.
How the day will look exactly, will be announced later. Keep an eye on our social media for this!
To keep up to date with the introduction, it is smart to join your Facebook group and like MSV Pulse on Facebook and follow MSV Pulse on Instagram! The Facebook group is widely used to exchange practicals and skills labs, exchange files such as summaries and to keep up to date with news within the study.
